Farm Work Day

Saturday was work day at the Holland Farm. The Hollands are friends who perform community ministry work and maintain a website at http://www.attheready.org.

We arrived at noon and got right to work moving a stack of wood, collecting trash and piling debris onto a burn pile that grew larger as the day wore on. A quick break for lunch and we worked until just before dark.

After completing the work tasks for day, the group got together for an opportunity for some of the members to shoot firearms, including a 5.56 mm with high capacity magazine and a shotgun with a drum magazine.

Food was prepared and everyone enjoyed prepper venison and macaroni, grape fruit drink, and chocolate cake for desert. A fitting end to an enjoyable day of work and fellowship.

  1. Best part of these firing videos is the first shooter is 100% blind, having never fired but always wanting to fire a weapon. This was in fact the only reason firing took place.
